Making Meaning Part II

For Making Meaning Part I, my object was "quarters."  One word I paired with it was "time," with the concept of "time is money."  I chose chose to use "time" as my word for part II and here's what I've come up with.  I would be very appreciative if you guys could take a look at these and see if the connections I'm trying to make are clear.  Each card is numbered and the ideas are listed at the bottom to see if you got them right.  Let me know which ones are working and which are unclear, por favor!  Muchas gracias!

1. quarters + time = time is money
2. airplane + time = time flies
3. map + time = time travel
4. I heart NY + time = New York Times
5. divided map + time = time zones
6. white rabbit + time = march hare (from Alice in Wonderland)
7. sheet music + time = keeping time/tempo
8. beach + time = sands of time (or erosion over time)
9. moon phases + time = lunar cycles
10. dinosaur + time = time periods/ages (jurassic, stone age, etc)
11. prisoner + time = serving time/jail

I feel like all the map ones are maybe a little too similar, but I don't know.  Comments?  Suggestions?

Thanks guys!

He might say that the airplane one doubles with the time travel one. Maybe use something other than an airplane for that. It would probably be the easiest fix. Good luck!

Thanks, Jenna! I was thinking the same thing. I'll see what else I can find. How's yours going?
