This is my work in progress for project #3 for digital media. Pretty obvious, but it's about being in unfamiliar places and how everything seems different, even the clouds. I thought the view looking out the window gave kind of a longing sense. I'd like to reshoot that scene with maybe a taller window so that I can fade it more easily into the clouds in the background. The polaroid-esque picture from the plane window is also one of my own images that I put a frame around to give it the look of instant film. The ticket and postage stamp are scans of my own as well, but the map is admittedly snagged from Google Images. I'm thinking of doing something different with the text and perhaps putting something else in the top left corner where the empty blue background is.What do you guys think? What is or isn't working here? It's just a rough draft basically, so I'd really like to get some input from my peers. Any comments, suggestions, and/or constructive criticism are welcome and very much appreciated!
